Huh? Who is making a decent living from ~just~ their (idm) creations???
Certainly not the majority of artists producing music that is discussed on
this list.

That is all-well-and-good, but the 'artists' (loosely-used term, in that
case) on major labels don't make
nearly as much money as the execs: not nearly by a lot! The artists
generally make
less money than do the techs, who are often frustrated musicians
themselves, just 'earning a buck', on a (safe) salary.
